All services, digital booking portals, and features provided by Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops through the website puertoplazalasterrenas.com and its mobile instances are subject to the following terms and conditions and the applicable legislation of the Dominican Republic.
Accessing and using this portal confirms full and unconditional acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these conditions, you must refrain from using the website and its online services.
2. Booking Terms, Check-in Policy & Guest Regulations
Accommodation agreements at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops are subject to the following standard operating policies:
- Check-in and Check-out Times: Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM (15:00). Check-out time is strictly at 12:00 PM (noon) to allow scheduled sanitization. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur supplemental fees.
- Age Requirement & Identification: The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid government-issued photographic ID or international passport upon physical check-in.
- Security Guarantee & Payment: A valid credit card authorization hold or refundable security deposit is required at check-in to cover potential incidental damages. All payments are processed through certified PCI-DSS compliant financial gateways.
- 100% Smoke-Free Policy: Smoking (including tobacco, e-cigarettes, and vapes) is strictly prohibited inside all apartments and enclosed corridors. Designated smoking areas are available in open-air sections.
- Pool & Common Areas: The 2nd-floor panoramic pool and jacuzzi operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Glassware is strictly prohibited in the pool perimeter. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Pet Policy: Small pets are welcome with prior written notification at the time of reservation and compliance with hotel pet guidelines.
3. Prohibited Uses and Infrastructure Protection
The following activities are strictly prohibited on this platform and its underlying server infrastructure:
- Automated harvesting, scrapers, data-mining, or bulk extraction without prior written authorization from Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops.
- Transmitting, deploying, or executing malicious software, injection scripts, denial-of-service (DDoS/DoS) attacks, or vulnerability probes against our systems. Hostile IP addresses are blocked permanently at the perimeter firewall.
- Attempting to bypass authentication mechanisms, modify booking parameters without authorization, or spoof server headers.
4. Anti-Spam Policy and Electronic Communications
In accordance with Law No. 310-14 on Commercial Communications of the Dominican Republic, we strictly prohibit the dispatch of unsolicited bulk electronic messages (SPAM). 5. Intellectual Property and Architectural Concept
The distinctive nautical architecture ("The Boat Hotel"), registered trademarks, logos, photographs, illustrations, audio-visual materials, source code, and website design elements are the exclusive intellectual property of Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure
Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops shall not be held liable for disruptions in web services or temporary delays resulting from force majeure events, natural phenomena (storms, hurricanes), utility disruptions beyond hotel control, or scheduled cloud infrastructure maintenance.
7. Governing Law and Competent Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to these terms or hotel services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Judicial District of Samaná, Dominican Republic.
